What is Taekwondo ?   

Taekwondo is a recognized Olympic Sport that builds not only strength, stamina, and flexibility but also improves one's overall fitness and well-being. Taekwondo also provides many other advantages such as learning self-discipline, competitive awareness, tenacity, social skills and much more. Taekwondo training is good for children's physical, mental, and emotional health. Several researches has proven that martial arts students have better concentration, greater boundaries, and more cognitive control than participants without martial arts training. Conversely, children who reported more than two hours of screen time a day scored lower on thinking and language tests. As Taekwondo is an individual sport, each student advances at his or her own pace. At the same time, kids enjoy the friendship and camaraderie of practicing in a group setting. Enrolling your kids in a martial arts program is a great way to get them moving and have fun.
